Hanoi Airport Taxi

A taxi ride to the city center takes normally 30 minutes approximately. 

Be careful with scams and taking a taxi at night, as there is usually poor service. Try to plan it beforehand. 

Location

Taxi ranks are properly located on the Arrivals level at both terminals:

- Terminal 1: Arrivals, first level, East wing.
- Terminal 2: Arrivals, first level, Hall C and E.

Companies

At Hanoi Airport there 14 taxi companies allowed to work in their facilites. Some have metered taxis and others not, so we recommend to always check with the driver the final price.

One of the most trustworthy companies is Mai Linh Taxi.

Fares

The fare from the HAN Airport to Hanoi Old Quarter is around 250,000 – 400,000 VND (11 USD – 20 USD).

Ridesharing services

Grab is the alternative for Uber in Vietnam. Passengers should download Grab application to their device and book a Grab. If you do not know the app, you can check it here.

Go Viet and Vato are other ridesharing applications widely used in Hanoi.
